New York
New York is probably the most recognised city in all of a America if not the world. Also known as the Big Apple, this place is a must visit when going to the USA. Known for it’s many iconic buildings and locations featured in a lot of films through out the 80’s and 90’s and still used today.
New York has such a mix of cultures which means you can find different areas representing strongly other parts of world for example Little Italy which is known for it’s Italian population and inspires the shops/ restaurants you will find in this area.
New York City is composed of five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Manhattan and Brooklyn are the main tourist hot spots. In Manhattan you’ll find Time Square where you can take in the many digital advertising billboards.
You can’t go to NYC without visiting some of the amazing viewing decks and iconic buildings such as Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center. It is also worth seeing a production on the famous Broadway as well as visiting the Statue of Liberty.
Certainly worth a walk from 7th street up to Central Park and walking some of the famous 5th Avenue. There is just so much to see and do in New York and love for the City that people keep going back for more.
