About Us

Hello and welcome to our travel site dedicated to helping you find the best of what a destination has to offer.

Our aim is to help you book your perfect trip with informative content and recommendations, to avoid all of the traps people can succumb to and see the very best highlights. We love to give our own personal opinions, ratings and comparisons across worldwide destinations but apart from having a natural love for travel we have also worked in the travel industry for a combined 25+ years.

Originally from the Wirral in the North of England I didn’t actually venture abroad until I was 21. The I got ‘the bug’. I have since flown on over 200 flights, lived in 7 different places and travelled around the world both alone and with travel partners. I went backpacking on working visa’s but also enjoyed plenty of shorter holidays in the quest to see and experience as much as I can with plenty of good and bad stories along the way.

I travel for the love of contrasts… Quiet mountain views and crazy evening city activities are things I can enjoy in the same day. As a dad I struggle to (be able to) sit still when I’m away so I’m often looking for the best things to do and max out the local experiences. My favourite destination has to be Australia but up there would be New Zealand, Thailand and Italy.

I currently work in the travel industry so I know a few tips and hacks to get the most out of a trip that I can hopefully share with you.

Having quit my then job at 19 years old and never having flown on a plane, I set off to Australia on a working holiday visa and this is how my love for travel started. Since then I have travelled parts of New Zealand, Asia, USA, Canada & Europe.

I have been working in travel for around 20 years now, from selling holidays and round-the-world tickets on the phones to managing relationships with top travel aggregators globally.

My favorite place to travel is Asia and a hidden gem for me is Taiwan. I’m equally happy in a big city to a rural setting and like to take in local culture whenever I can. There is still so much of Europe for me to explore and will be looking to do this over the next few years.
