Seminyak is probably the place where most tourists will stay when they go to Bali. It does have many beaches around and nearby and even a beach named after it ‘Seminyak Beach’. In this list we go through the best beaches in our opinion for you to take advantage of.

If you find yourself in Ubud or considering staying there. Then this list of beaches near Ubud is worth checking out. Spoiler alert, there aren’t any beaches that close to Ubud.

Seminyak beach view

1. Seminyak Beach

Distance from Seminyak: 15 mins walk from central (1.1 Km)

I think we had to start with Seminyak Beach really and it is very impressive to be fair. Great atmosphere with many beach front bars to enjoy and just people watching with a cold beer/ drink.

You can also sunbathe during the day and my highlight here is the sunset. Once the sunset has happened you can then party into the night with many bars staying open or even wander back into town for clubbing etc, but beware there can be dress codes so shorts and flip flops might not be allowed at some places.

So if you are staying in Seminyak, you really don’t need to go far at all to get a great beach. But I am sure you want to explore others rather than going here every day / night.
